The Challenge: To read five books about Africa, three of which must be by African authors.
You are also encouraged to:
- Cover at least two regions
- Include translated fiction from (Arabic, Francophone, Lusophone)
- Mix classic and contemporary fiction
- Read at least one work of fiction if you plan to read mostly non-fiction
